The VIGIE 255 M kit comprises of 2 small inconspicuous sensors installed under the water line, a control panel, a wristband and a remote control. It is designed to meet the stipulations of the French pool safety standard NF P 90-307-1 (April 2009). The sensors, the active parts of the detection system, are installed under the water line. This means that they are almost insensitive to surface events that are the most frequent cause of false alarms; ball falling into the pool, waves, rain, etc.

Another advantage of the VIGIE 255 M alarm system is that its compatible with every type of pool, even those fitted with bar covers or automatic covers

The mains powered control panel features a powerful integrated alarm. A backup battery assures continued operation of the control panel in the event of a power failure. The system can be easily deactivated when the pool is in use. It resets automatically 10 minutes after the last bather leaves the pool. The system will automatically prolong standby mode in 2 minute increments for as long as people remain in the pool. A minimum of two sensors must be installed,
however for larger pools (above 5m x 10m), free-form pools, or pools fitted with integrated cleaning systems, up to 4 sensors can be fitted.

Important Reminders

1) The best form of protection is surveillance by a responsible adult, that no alarm system could replace. Remain vigilant at all times and watch children at all times whatever the alarm or safety system installed.
2) To ensure that the system is working correctly, test the alarm regularly following the recommendations provided by the manufacturer
